Ads for Adobe PDF Powered by Yahoo

Yahoo PDF AdsA beta test of Ads for Adobe PDF Powered by Yahoo opened for publishers, offering placement and tracking of contextual ads alongside Portable Document Format content.

PDF has been an appealing format due to its ability to preserve the look and feel of a document, while providing it to others in an easily accessible way. The free Adobe Reader became a fixture on computer desktops as adoption of PDF increased.

Yahoo has managed to score a significant win by beating ad competitors like Google and Microsoft to the opportunity to mine the PDF space for advertising revenue. Adobe and Yahoo announced the new program for delivering dynamic contextual ads in PDFs this morning.

Update for New Adsense Management

Undoubtedly, Google Adsense plays the role as mainstream of internet advertising method around the internet.

Traditionally, we need to enter adsense code one by one on our websites or blogs. This work is tiring, but the return may be huge. If you are using dynamic php or asp script, you only need to put the code for once in order to appear in every page. Imaging, if you still using html language, then you need to enter Adsense code on every page manually.

What more tiring is, when you would like to change the size or color of adsense appearance, again, you need to change it one by one — just because traditional adsense code is store on website, not server.

Highest pay adsense keywords

Google has released a great tool to search for the current CPC for keywords which can be found here. I have used this tool to compile an updated list of the current highest paying keywords. It seems that lawyers are still paying the most out of all. It’s a bit concerning that some of the highest paying keywords are for “Wrongful Death”, and “DUI”, but oh well..

Google Gadget Ads finally launched today

google gadget adsGoogle has just officially launched a new ad format which displays interactive content with the use of Gadgets - Gadget Ads. This new ads format is now available for many of the adwords advertisers. They run on the Google content network, competing alongside text, image and video ads for placement.

The new ad format supports both cost-per-click and cost-per-impression pricing models, and offers a variety of contextual, site, geographic and demographic targeting options.
